Hope you’re enjoying the pleasures of a typical ‘British Summer’ ! However, it won’t be long before the nights start drawing in and your thoughts may turn to things creative…
Here are some events which you may find of interest:
26th June – 28th July
Rum’s Eg, Romsey – gallery, workshop and cafe
Exhibition: ‘Summer Garden’.
I’m exhibiting several pictures, as are other artists, ceramists, sculptors and textile artists.

14th Sept
Workshop at Hillier Gardens, Romsey
Combining acrylics and batik, using the gardens as inspiration.
28th and 29th Sept
The Steam Museum in Swindon – Workshop tasters
I will be doing two workshops as taster sessions for ‘batik novices’. Each workshop is an hour and a half.
9th Nov
St Catherine’s Hall, Christchurch – Open workshop
I will be running my own workshop locally, at St Catherine’s Hall , Christchurch. I’ve left the content of the event ‘open’, so participants can have their interests tailored to suit accordingly. Limited spaces, so booking with a £10 deposit to secure a place is recommended. The workshop will be £55 to include all materials.
Other news…
I’ve been on a number of courses to extend and diversify my own work. I have learnt more about different types of printing, unusual ways of using acrylics and oil pastels.
If you’re a member of an art group to which I have demonstrated ‘Batik’, you may like me to come and show you something different!
